This was such an interesting piece with so much great language, Samphire. I particularly liked the use of the adjective ‘feathered’ and how the creature rubbed its nose against the window. That created a strong image in my mind. Perhaps one thing you could focus on is to proof-read and add in your capital letters where you need them (especially for I).
